Meet the Maileg Princess and the Pea, Big Sister Mouse, inspired by the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairytale. The set includes a castle bed, a tower of soft mattresses, a princess mouse and, of course, the tiniest pea to hide underneath.
Little ones can stack the mattresses, hide the pea and see if the princess can feel it. She’s Big Sister size, so she can ride in the Maileg Pumpkin Carriage and join the rest of the Maileg mouse family for more play.
We love a toy that brings a classic story to life. Retelling the fairytale, acting it out and inventing new endings all build storytelling, language and imagination, and it looks enchanting on a bedroom shelf.

🌿 About Maileg
Maileg is a Danish design company founded in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil, and still based in Herning, Denmark. Dorthe’s designs have a look all of their own: soft fabrics in unique printed patterns, tiny metal furniture and clever paper boxes that double as beds and houses. Maileg believes children thrive with simpler, well-made toys rather than plastic, and every piece is made to be loved, played with and handed down for generations. Refunds & Exchanges
We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days after receiving your item to request a return. Note over the Christmas period this policy is extended until the 5th January, for orders purchased from the 1st November.
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns within the 45 days returns window about your specific gifting timelines, in special circumstances we may be able to assist.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
