Emma and James Emmerson, both born in 1973, conceived the company in 2003 whilst sat at their kitchen table. Based by the seaside in Brighton, the company has organically grown through the years, being at the forefront of dynamic design and use of original print techniques and materials. James has an irrepressible passion for print, typography and stationery design. Not one for resting on his laurels, as well as designing, he is constantly busy devising new and ingenious ways to manufacture environmentally friendly, fully recyclable high end stationery pieces from the 1973 workshop.
