Moulin Roty Toys, French Imagination, Beautifully Made

Moulin Roty has been making toys in France since 1972, and if you’ve ever held one, you’ll understand why they’ve endured. There’s a quality to them, in the weight of a fabric doll, the detail on a miniature tea set, the softness of a plush elephant. They are toys that feel considered in a way that’s increasingly rare. At Binky Shop, we stock Moulin Roty because it represents exactly what we believe a toy should be: something that makes a child gasp with joy, stand up to play, and is beautiful enough to gift.

The Collections

Moulin Roty organises its world into families of characters, each with their own personality and universe. La Grande Famille, the original Moulin Roty family, features the beloved mouse characters that have collected fans for decades. From the iconic Moulin Roty mouse ballerina to soft toy mice dressed for every occasion, this is where the brand’s storytelling heart lives.

Les Minouchkas are Moulin Roty’s cat family: wide-eyed, velvet-soft, and available in a range of sizes from pocket companions to larger cuddly toys. Le Schmouks take a quirkier turn; these characterful soft toys with their oversized features and expressive faces have become one of the brand’s most-searched ranges, and it’s easy to see why.

For imaginative play, the Moulin Roty caravan is one of the most coveted pieces in the range, a beautifully detailed pull-along wooden toy that children return to again and again. A Binky customer favourite is the Moulin Roty tea set, perfect for little hosts who take their entertaining seriously, and the Moulin Roty piano, a first musical instrument that sounds as charming as it looks.

The Moulin Roty rag doll collection spans characters across several families, soft-bodied, fabric-faced dolls in the French folk tradition that feel timeless rather than trendy.

Why Moulin Roty?

Moulin Roty toys are made with natural materials wherever possible, using cotton, linen, and wood and designed to age well. They’re the kind of gift that arrives feeling special and stays special. Whether you’re buying a first soft toy for a newborn, a birthday gift for a child who loves imaginative play, or a Christmas present that will genuinely be remembered, Moulin Roty rarely disappoints.
